Ruth Bell Graham, wife of Billy Graham, died yesterday. On Wednesday, he claimed she wanted to be buried on the grounds of his library in Charlotte -- and there is apparently a signed document saying so. However, as recently as a week and a half ago, she told her son she still wanted to be buried at The Cove, their retreat in the mountains, where she's wanted to be buried for many years. Was she sufficiently confused recently that she would forget what she agreed? And if she was, does the latest wish stand? Or was she pressured in March to sign the Charlotte document and later changed her mind? Two of the four Graham children think she should be buried at the Cove.
As to more local thwarting wishes, as soon as I finish this post, I'm going to feed the cats who have been whining for a half-hour. It's true, I usually feed them about 4pm.
