Eternity's End by Jeffrey Carver

I'm choosing books to take to the library where, if nobody in the bookgroup wants them, they go to the bookcases where patrons can buy them for pennies. I've had a few books where I couldn't really remember enough about them to decide. A lot of those I read about 20 pages and put them in the Out pile. This one, I read all of it, neglecting other things to read it.

It's really good science fiction. Out in space, lots of aliens, space pirates, cybernetics, just lots of things and they're all realistic. I see from the front that there's more in this series (I have his two non-series books) and I may have to buy them.
