02:23 pm: Some Things

We were supposed to be at 92 today, but are at 88. I'm staying home anyway and am changing sheets.

Jim Young has a brain tumor and is expected to die in a few days. You can read his CaringBridge.

You can watch John Huston's movie "Let There Be Light" free until August. It was made in 1946 but the Army pulled it away because they didn't want people to see the psychological effects on soldiers from WWII. It's been restored and only lasts 58 minutes.

We're having a heatwave, too, mid 90s as of right now, and I'm staying home, too. Although, I am out on the yard every hour or so to move the hose because our sprinklers were (accidentally) turned off yesterday and that's not doing the veggie beds any good. Long story, involving falling tree limbs etc. (on my blog), so the staying at home is a welcome relief.
Hope it won't stay this hot for you and hope your upstairs neighbor catches on.

Thanks for the 'heads-up'on "Let There Be Light". There might be a kernel of a story hiding in there for future use and I look forward to watching it. Hopefully I can get to it this weekend.
