I slept until 4am and then read the book, ate, read a bit of the paper (I now have Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday), and headed out at 9am. I got the trash & recycling out and the cardboard to the transfer station and then planned to pick up a kind of Loctite glue at the store the website gave me, and they don't have that one. Even Google couldn't find it -- I just went through the local hardware stores websites and found it at Lowe's. I set up to pick up there tomorrow. That's never worked before, but I'm willing to try again.
I had tons of mail, even though it was only two days-worth, and took care of all that -- most going into the mixed-paper recycling bin -- and started the sheets. I just never got them done earlier this week, so I probably won't switch on this coming Sunday. We had another big thunderstorm. The big kitties found hiding places, but Spirit was sound asleep in her bed. It was 93 at noon, but now 78. Even big storms have some good results.
I'm going to try to stay up as long as I can to go back to a more regular schedule.
A fascinating article on Slate about Ravelry, a knitting and crocheting website. We get to find out all about how it started, how it's managed, and how people use it. The author's wife really likes Ravelry, and he would like a similar site called "Too Many Cooks."
