First Day of Heat Wave

You know, we usually have heat waves and heat indexes and pollution ranges in July. Last night I watched TV, read the paper, and got to bed to read at 2am. I finished the book at 4:30am and came out to get the paper and check online for today's temperature. It was 88F, but there was a heat index and the pollution is orange. It may be in the 100s the next three days. I was watching early news while I was online and with that, like an idiot, I played solitaire until 7am. I changed the alarm to 2pm, but turned it off when it buzzed and slept until 4:30pm.

I'm in a lot of pain today and I don't know why. One good thing: when I dropped Spirit's half-cup Pyrex custard cup (water) in the sink, it only broke into three pieces that fit together perfectly. I have more of those. With more pieces, I would have had to call a friend in the middle of the night to come take care of it. That's a problem without a door and walls for the kitchen.

I called and rescheduled the PT appointment and checked for another doctor. After that, the only thing I'll do today is laundry because I'm very sleepy and may have to take a nap.
