Lunch Out

My brother, sister-in-law, and niece came to take me to lunch. My nephew only gets to play World of Warcraft on weekends and he'd rather do that than come up (and considering his attitude, I'd rather he did, too). We went to a Southwestern New Mexico restaurant where they have Burros instead of Burritos and when my brother told my niece that they were made with donkey meat, she believed him.

Allison, my sister-in-law, asked me why I was so good at computers and I told her, I know lots of people who are better than I am at computers. She asked if Rick and I inherited it and we told her in unison "No!" Our folks have/had no mechanical or electronic skills. My father and stepmother once took their clothes to a laundry to wash them until I came down to fix the washer.

They brought me a card Kathleen had made, and Allison brought me a Billy Graham tract with lots of bits circled and underlined.

I got a picture of them -- Allison, then Kathleen, then Rick:

and I showed them pictures of my cousin Lisa's kids, plus the picture of Gramps that my cousin Lori sent. They weren't very interested in the cat pictures. They do, however, have a bantam rooster & hen and hope for eggs this spring.

For those of you who want to look at my new cat pictures:

This is all of them in bed. The tuxedo is Shiva, the white is Giorgio, the striped is Spirit:

All again in bed (different week, different duvet cover):

And Spirit and Shiva on the top of the recliner, with the kitty castle to the right:
