Manners Breach

Last night I watched Glee and the Hawaii Five-O which I taped Monday since there wasn't any Castle. I'm still not thrilled by HFO. I read the paper and got to bed late at 2am. I read until 4am and slept with the now-traditional hot flashes until 1pm.

It was supposed to be 82F today but was 85F instead, so I was glad I wore summer clothes. However, I wore white shoes, which are not allowed until May 1st. Too bad. I think white pants and black shoes look weird. It'll be in the 60's tomorrow, so no worry then.

I took the trash and recycling out and went for my psych appointment. He thinks that the effexor may help both my depression and the hot flashes, but it probably won't start for two weeks. I went to Olive Garden for lunch and had the new pastry & braised beef dish. I was expecting to take 2/3 home, but it turns out that some of what looked like meat on TV was braised mushrooms, so I only brought half home.

I ordered Paul Simon's new album, "So Beautiful or So What," and it arrived today. I've listened to it twice in a row so far and would start again, but I want to watch Modern Family in a few minutes. I'll probably run it again afterward, it's really great music.
