I got a phone call at bookgroup on Saturday, but didn't see it until later -- the group is way too loud to hear the phone -- and planned to call her back on Monday and forgot. Well, Arline called me again yesterday and we had a nice talk. I haven't seen her in about 15 years but she was the person who helped me so much with the two renal failures back in Arlington. She's 19 years older than I am and she and her husband have moved to a condo, too, and to a new church (that doesn't do modern services). We got caught up on a lot of things.
Last night I watched TV and most of the tapes I'd made and read the paper. I went to bed to read at 1:30am and stopped at 4am. I was still awake at 6am and came out to get the paper. Boy, the moon was wonderful. It looked like hammered pure silver on dark blue velvet. It was a gorgeous full moon. I went back to bed, still awake, and at 8am read the rest of the book. I was still awake at 10am and decided to stay in bed until the alarm went off at noon and see if I still thought I should go out.
I decided to take the trash & recycling out and then have lunch at Ruby Tuesday's. They sent a lot of people in their club the wrong birthday notice and in return, gave a free garden bar (normally $2.99 with entree) with an entree. I usually just have the garden bar or that and something smaller, so I brought most of the entree home. I'd had the Lobster Alfredo before and got the Chicken & Mushroom today, and there's lots of chicken in it -- much more protein than in the Lobster version -- enough for today and tomorrow's protein.
I got home at 2:30pm and planned to sleep until 5:15pm (when my phone alarm was set for the second batch of wellbutrin), but when the alarm went off, I took the meds and set the VCRs and went back to bed. I mostly woke up at 8:30pm and got up to scoop the litterboxes and then came online. I got colder and colder and realized I hadn't turned the temperature up when I got up and did that. Spirit went to bed after the condo warmed up. I'm getting sleepy again and hope to actually sleep tonight.
