Back to Time

I finished the paper at midnight last night and then went to bed and finished the book at 2am. I set the alarm for noon and went right to sleep, getting right up when the alarm went off. This is good.

I got money from the ATM because I was going to spend more money than usual at the grocery. I stopped at their pharmacy and asked them to page for someone to help me in the Pet aisle. The doctor says no more sliding litter from above my head, and I've known that for a long time, but I always feel like I'm not doing my job if I don't do it. The guy who came was shorter than I am, but much stronger, and we talked about the litter because he has a cat and thinks flushing the litter would be a good choice.

I found out where Junie was yesterday. When I took the duvet off the ladderback chair to start putting it inside the duvet cover, she was on the chair. She frequently pulls my bathrobe (which is usually on the back of the chair) either to the seat or the floor and hides in it while she sleeps, so apparently having the duvet over her was good, too.

I got all the cat blankies washed today, as well as Spirit's bed (she's asleep in it now), and have printed new pink emergency sheets with the new med on it and decreasing the allopurinol because my kidney labs have been so bad. I've been sort of cleaning the house for quite a while, thinking I could save the money, but I'm hurting too much to keep it up (and I haven't been dusting at all) so I'm going to have to have a cleaner again.

Yesterday's WashPost had an article with photos about how injured troops are moved from the battlefield to Landstuhl. It's very interesting and also sad.

An opinion saying that Monopoly was the game for the Great Depression, but Settlers of Catan is the game for now.
