When I got offline yesterday, I watched Masterpiece Mystery and then read the paper. I got to bed to read at 1:30am and set the alarm for noon. I stopped reading and went to sleep at 4am but woke up briefly at 6:30am and then for a long time at 8am. I got up at 9:45am and had toast and hot tea while petting Spirit (her bed was on the floor, which usually means Junie has pushed her off).
I was still awake and read until 11am and then slept until 3pm. That's eight hours, but not inline; I'm really sleepy now and will go have a nap when I put this up. I've moved washing the sheets until next Sunday because I hurt a lot today. I can always do it earlier if I feel better.
I got groceries and one of the specials I wanted anyway gave me 200 more gas points. The problem with having 328 points is that the van won't be anywhere near half-empty by the time they run out. I'll have to just fill up before the next 30 days. On the way to the store I saw a man on a bicycle with a batting helmet on.
I'm sure you've heard about the Chilean miners from the outside, but here's an article telling how the foreman is keeping things going down there -- to keep their emotions up. But the foreman has found out that the folks at the top are censoring/keeping the messages the families send to make sure they're all positive. The men are ready to blow up for lack of mail.
