11:36 am: Pushing Even More Forward

The newspaper came right after my last post, so I made the grocery list and watched two TV shows I'd taped and a DVD and I didn't go out until about 10:30am. I'd measured myself and ordered a top and pants to see how accurate my measurement was in smaller clothes. They came Friday and the top is fine (I ordered a few more) but the pants are just like all manufacturers pants -- too small in the butt and the thighs were twice as big as my thighs -- so I packed it to return. When I went out I got money from the ATM, dropped the pants package into the box-thing near the ATM, dropped the DVD at the post office and stopped at the Taco Bell in the same shopping center as the grocery. The coupon package had one for a free Limeade Sparkler from there and I decided to try it. I think it would have been more successful if the staff had stirred it. It had lime syrup and a lime half-slice at the bottom, then fizzy water and ice above. They gave me a straw with a scoop at the bottom, so I was able to stir it. It shows 150 calories on their nutrition page, and I ended up not eating anything else until I got up today. I just forgot.

I got everything on my list yesterday, partly because it was a fairly small list, then picked up Friday's mail on the way in. I put perishable food away and went to rest in the semi-recliner with Spirit while I looked at the mail. Most of it went into the mixed-paper recycling bin, of course.

I read Saturday's paper and then went to bed to read about 3pm. I didn't make it to 7pm, I was nodding off right before 6pm and just turned the light off and went to sleep. I had to use the bathroom once and for the first six hours or so, Junie jumped on me to wake me up. But I slept until 8:30am today -- 14.5 hours -- which is a long time. I'm going to try to keep getting up at 8am for a few days because I need to have the four-week labs on Tuesday and trash & recycling out on Wednesday. It means I'll have to go to bed at 9pm to read, but I'll try it.

I'm amazed you manage to change the times you are awake/asleep like this. My body has very definite ideas about this and change is not a good thing. Takes me forever to adjust to a time change, e.g. daylight savings time or time zone changes. No fun at all!

Well, I'm not comfortable with this time range, but I can do it for a while. Boy, this is a change -- yesterday weather.com, that forecasts for 10 days, had all 90s to the end of the 10. Today it has today and three more and then all 80s. There's a lot of thunderstorms, so that's probably what they're thinking will cool us. But I should still try to get out tomorrow for the labwork. I'll have to check before I leave because the high is expected to be almost 100F and when that happens, usually it is in the 90s by 9am.
