More Reading for Pain

I managed to finish the News post yesterday, but had to go take acetaminophen and read in the bed after that. I'll be really glad when the recliner comes! I was back out here in time for the first part of the Peapod delivery range, but he ended up arriving just two minutes before the end of the range, while I was reading the paper. I put the perishables away and came back to finish the paper, but I probably went to sleep a dozen times with four pages of comics. When I headed for bed, I didn't read, I just went to sleep immediately at 1:30am.

I set my alarm for 8am because I had to take a form to Kaiser and they open at 8:30am. Since I was almost there too early, I stopped for a McDonald's breakfast. I'm pretty sure that's enough calories that I don't have to eat again today. I delivered the form and the temperature sign showed 85F at 8:20am. I picked up Wednesday's and Thursday's mail on the way in and went back to bed. I didn't sleep, so I read for three hours and tried to sleep again, but since I didn't, I just got up at 1pm.

One of the things delivered yesterday was boneless skinless chicken breasts that were on sale, so today I'm going to cook them in series. I think it will take four times to cook them all in the toaster oven and then I'll put them in the freezer.

I finished the second Richard Jury book -- by Martha Grimes -- and I'm not going to talk about each one in a separate post. The two I've read so far have all been murders with lots of hints and a solving at the end, so there's no use in writing them all up.
