07:19 pm: Happy Soltice!
I'd napped last evening so when I went to bed and got sleepy at 2:30am, I went back to sleep. I woke up at 5am very awake and showered and dressed. I left the condo at 6am and was back at 7am, having dropped the bookgroup book at the library, gotten groceries, and picking up Friday and Saturday's mail. I put perishable things away, sat in the recliner with Spirit for about 20 minutes, then went back to bed and asleep before 8am. I woke up at 5pm and gave us all our meds and breakfast food. I'll try to have the time like this at least through Wednesday because I have things to do both days. We're expecting 90F for at least a week, which means I have to go out very early or very late, and a lot of places aren't open very late.

My primary released the rest of my chem 7 from Friday and my GFR has dropped to 31. First time it's been that low, and one point lower and I'm in stage 4. I'll have the nephrologist look at it.

You were up early!
But, if it works for you, and it obviously does, doing things this way is the way to go during hot weather.

I don't think it will work long-term, I'm really not designed for this timing of sleep. But as long as I have to go out and it's in the 90s and/or Code Orange or Red, I have to go out early. Apparently we're going to have the hottest June in record.
