More Nice Weather

After I slept for two hours and finished online last night, I started reading the paper and finished about midnight. I was planning on going to bed earlier than usual, but I remembered I'd forgotten to have the replacement fluid, so I watched Yours, Mine, and Ours while I drank it. I have another old movie coming next, so I must have been somewhere at some point where they were mentioned.

I got up at 9am and slept in the recliner until 2pm. The UPS guy hasn't been here yet. I got the kitties their breakfast, I took my meds, and gave Spirit and Junie theirs. I'm washing cat blankies today, plus Spirit's bed since she spit up in it again. Fortunately, it doesn't take very much time since I'm using the very least level of washing and drying the machines have.

A Boeing Stearman ST75 rolled over while landing at National for a film. There was a WashPost reporter/videographer inside and the video is online.

Not only do people have trouble using Google Maps and GPS, a study shows that using that kind of navigation will atrophy the hippocampus and many people with atrophied hippocampi get Alzheimer's.

The soccer world cup is in South Africa and they have an instrument called the vuvuzela which apparently sounds like an elephant trunk, but when you have lots of them, they sound like locusts.
