Sleep... Unbinding?

I have De Quervain's tendenitis so I've been using a thumb spica brace at night. This is the company that has the smallest and it's still slightly too big for me. I guess kids don't need these splints. Anyway, I've been wearing it at night for a couple of months without a problem. But the last few nights I've put it on, gone to sleep, and when I wake up in the morning, it's not only not on my hand, but folded and in its clamshell package. If I knew why I was taking it off, I might be able to set it so I don't take it off.

I picked up the new glasses today with the adjusted right lens and they're really great. It's always amazing to see so much more clearly.
