I Don't Know What Happened

I finally went to sleep at 7am and had set the alarm for 1pm. I woke up at 4pm and the alarm was turned off. So either I didn't really set it last night or I turned it off without remembering. I think the first is more likely since Junie usually wants her (pill)pocket when the alarm goes off.

It's really cold and wet today again, and I'm having trouble walking and moving my fingers, so it's just as well that I slept in. I'd planned to do the four-week labs today, but I can do them tomorrow when it may be in the 80s.

I'm still trying to get the appointment for the bone scan and emailed my doctor yesterday. This morning a Kaiser radiology person called me and told me who to ask for to actually make the appointment. Apparently the person I talked to yesterday was new.

Remember when I posted about how the new Virginia Governor was making it more difficult for non-violent released felons to get the vote back? Well, it turns out that they haven't contacted the folks they sent the letter to about writing a letter or not. Some of those folks have sent the letter in and didn't know that the governor's staff has backed off.

Tom Toles had an excellent cartoon yesterday -- be sure to read the small note at the right bottom.
