06:30 pm: March of the Penguins
This movie follows Emperor Penguins over a year of life (or not) in Antarctica. It was brilliantly filmed and Morgan Freeman was an excellent narrator, but I couldn't help feeling sorry for the penguins. They seem to have almost no happiness or time to play. All their life is spent trying to stay alive, and keep their chicks alive.

I thought a lot of the close-ups were just camera tricks, but the credits show them filming right by the penguins.

It was an intersting movie to watch, but very very sad.

I remember when I first saw the movie wondering how anyone could say it was a kid's film. I felt so bad for all the penguins waiting for their spouses to return from the sea and how so many didn't.

It had no rating here, but I wouldn't take a kid to it. I'm not sure I'd take an adult.
