Virginia Values

Paul Powell was killed last night. By Virginia. On purpose. He did horrible things -- raped and killed a young girl and raped and almost-killed her sister -- but I don't like the death penalty. The girl who lived, now a woman, said she had disagreed with the death penalty, but now thinks it's right. This is a detailed description of the execution. If you read those, you'll see that Powell got the death penalty because after he was in the jail the first time, he wrote the county prosecutor a letter admitting to what he'd done.

If the health care reform bill passes, our attorney general plans to sue Congress (we think, he hasn't been very plain about who/what he plans to sue).

I'm doing laundry and plan to do taxes when I finish online.
