08:31 pm: Out to Kaiser
I checked email before I left today and the nephrologist had ordered the 24-hour urine. I headed off to the center, got the labs my primary doctor wanted done, and brought the requirements for the urine home.

In my mail were some bills plus the Census, which is in a giant envelope and is giant itself. There's just me here, so it didn't take long to fill out and put in the other giant envelope. (I was pretty sure they didn't want to count the cats.) I'll deal with the bills tomorrow.

Spirit isn't in her bed, or the litterbox, or anywhere I can see. She was in the bed not too long ago. I'm not going to look for a bit, maybe she's looking somewhere. Junie is up on the crenellaions and Lokie back on the halfwall.

For the first time ever, we got the short census form, just two pages to be filled in, instead of many, many. Makes a nice change.
Hope Spirit will come out on her own.
Take good care,

Yeah, mine just had about 10 questions -- 10 people worth of the questions, but there's only me.

Spirit was back in her box when I looked over there again. Maybe she was exploring behind the recliner.

We got a short census form. The last census skipped us, if I recall, but one of these days I'll probably get the long form.

Hope you get news on the lab results soon.

Well, I only had 10 questions, but there were 10 questions for 10 people.

The lab results usually come back the next day (the doctor has to release it to me online and I get a email message that takes me there). The TSH (thyroid) is right in the middle of the range, so I expect to stay at the same dosage. The cholesterol was nice and low and the good cholesterol was high, but the triglycerides were a little high. That doctor will almost certainly forget why I have high triglycerides (chronic renal failure) and email about changing what I eat.
