The Van Is Free!

I went out to see if I could get the van out, but I couldn't even get to the door because the line the guys dug is about a foot away from the van. I called a friend from bookgroup and he had practice, so his wife and teenage son came. They got a way to the door and then in front of the van so I could move it next to a snow mountain and the son came with me (ended up on top of the van) to get the 24" on top over to the snow mountain. His mother finished shoveling my spot. I would have counted on it melting soon enough except they're saying snow on Monday and I would like to get out before that.

I was reading in bed last night when I realized I was 10gr short of protein so I came out and got some cheese and sat in the recliner with Spirit. I noticed she had used her litterbox in the hour or so that I'd been down in bed, and she hadn't yelled at all. Apparently she likes it. I may be looking for a nice little bed in a couple of weeks.
