Asimov's February 2007

I found two particularly interesting stories this time:

1. "Outgoing" by Alex Wilson -- the story of a poet sent to the ISS where odd things happen and she takes an unexpected trip. I thought the very ending was trite and impossible, but it's very good up to there.

2. "Close" by William Preston -- Our protagonist has trouble getting to know people so when his church has a notice of a meeting to help that, he brings himself to go. It's only near the end of the meeting that he realizes he's in the wrong room, which brings unexpected circumstances.
