05:06 pm: No More Vasculitis
I emailed my rheumatologist yesterday to find out what the angiogram showed and there's no more vasculitis, which means my brain is better. She ordered a lower dose of the cytoxan so I can start tapering that, too. She thinks I should talk about the cotton-wool thing with my neurologist with whom I already have an appointment on the 30th.

I got the van back today with the inner door latch fixed, so I can use the collapsible crate to bring in the kitty litter I bought yesterday.

Junie kept whapping me with her tail last night and after she left the bed, two fire engines pulled up with lights. I may need a nap today.

Well, if whapping you with a tail wouldn't get you up to play, she had to call the trucks with lights.

It makes perfect sense to me.

Oh, she didn't want to play with me -- she wanted to sleep with Loki but Spirit was curled up there. Last night only Junie slept with me, mostly down by my ankles and the other two slept out in the living room. Spirit and Junie have not quite managed to be friends yet.

Good news about the vasculitis! Not so good about the tail, but cats will be cats.

Thanks, folks! Yes, definitely a good thing about the vasculitis. I suspect she'll have me have more angiograms over the years, though, because we don't know when the swelling started and it's possible the stroke could have been deflected.

Very good news about the vasculitis.
Could the cotton wool feeling have something to do with the interrupted sleep? I know I feel woozy (and pretty crabby) if I don't get enough sleep.
Take good care,
Doris

It hasn't happened with sleep problems before -- some doctors have said I fainted, but I'm sure I didn't lose conscienceness -- so I think it's just something odd with my brain.
