She came this afternoon and I signed and signed. I have a few days and then I'll have a new mortgage, with monthly payments that are a bit more than $200 less than they've been. And I don't pay for September. This is a really good thing.

I went to Joann's first because the seamstress says the micro-rib is okay, but they didn't have three yards of the plum (which I thought was likely). What they did have was a handheld device that tells them how much of the fabric other close Joann's have. There's a store I'll go right by on the way home from the rheumatology appointment on Wednesday, so I'll get the other three yards then. I don't think anybody will buy it in the meantime.

I went on to the Giant and dollarwise, got mostly health stuff again (want to use up the coupons before they run out), but people foodwise, it was about equal. Cat foodwise won -- 24 cans.

When I set up for the notarizing today, I moved the old theatre bench to the other side of the living room, so it made sort of an L with the loveseat instead of my recliner and I'm going to leave it that way for a while. What I hadn't realized was that makes the entry into the living room area closer to the center. It also makes the line along the "hallway" narrower, but we'll see how that works.

I'm going to start washing cat blankies when the mailman gets here. The brief dousing in the shower really helped last night and I think I'll try that tonight, too.
