Rock School

This is a documentary about Paul Green's School of Rock. He takes kids who want to be rockers and, using a lot of profanity, tries to do that. He makes a big deal in the beginning that he doesn't know theory and teaches them real rock (although some learn blues and rap), but the interesting part is that a lot of the things he explains to them about playing really is theory. We see interviews and performances, humiliations and congratulations. Although he does teach most of them something, only the kids who have talent really get to the point of being good. I think C.J. Tywoniak will make it professionally. Someone who isn't familiar with music theory would probably like this better.
