Awake to Update
I turned the light off at 1am last night, hoping to sleep until 8am, but I was awake until 5:30am when Shiva arrived (his standard time) for cuddling. I decided that if I was still awake at 6:30am, I'd just get up, because I realized that I hadn't had the rehydration fluid yesterday. I was still awake at 6:30am, so I had the Fosamax and during the stand/sit straight 30 minutes, I moved the to-be-read books around and now have room for about 30 more, not that I'm buying as many now. Then I mixed up the rehydration fluid and had that while I read the first section of the WashPost.
I had enough time to leave the house early, at 9am, and had breakfast at McDonald's. It's been years since I've been up that early and I do believe that their potato pattie thing is the best fast food ever. Nice to have orange juice, too. I dropped a book at the library, two DVDs at the post office, and got gas before I headed out to Burke. I read most of the rest of the WashPost while waiting for the nephrology NP. We went over the labs for a while -- that was interesting, she likes them printed out as numbers and I like to look at them online as colored graphs -- and decided to stop the lasix. It was that doctor who first said "enlarged heart" who prescribed it, and since my heart is okay, I don't need it, and my glucose is higher than we'd like. I see the doctor in a couple of months -- double-booked. The assistant said the problem isn't that we're short of nephrologists, it's that everybody who sees my nephrologist once wants her permanently.
I got home about 12:30 and posted so people would know I was sleeping, and slept from 1pm to 5pm. I'll probably sleep early tonight.

I'm even not on every third day right now. I think all my hands hurt, but I see the rheumatologist next Friday. I have little posts to write about…
I worked things out with the Amazon teller and they sent me refunds for the books I didn't exactly order and that definitely weren't in my library.…
