Galaxy Quest

This is one of the movies I put back at the bottom of the queueue after I see it because I like it so much.

A Star Trek-like TV cast is down to going to conventions and opening computer stores when real aliens appear and need help. The cast doesn't believe them, but when they get to space and see what's happening, they follow through. I think everybody's seen this, but it's worth seeing again.
