07:29 pm: My First "Event" In A While
I dropped a DVD off at the post office and got groceries. When I got home I put the cold things in the fridge & freezer and sat down at the computer to get my breath back. I was answering email when I suddenly couldn't read what I'd typed. This hasn't happened for several months and my neurologist had given me a med for it, but we didn't know if it was working or not because I could have just not had an event, a false negative. So I went to bed and slept for about 2.5 hours and when I got back, not only could I read, but I turned on the news and was shocked by the train collision. I emailed the neurologist.

I'm going to start washing cat blankies soon and I'll try to get to bed earlier since I have to be at Kaiser Penderbrook (outside Fair Oaks Mall ring road) by 7:45am on Wednesday and I usually turn the light out at 3am. It doesn't usually work for me to get to bed earlier, but I'm going to try for the next two days.

I'm glad that sleeping resolved the today's event. (And that you sent email to your neurologist, of course.)

Good luck with the timing on Wednesday's medical appointment. I know how hard it can be to go to sleep earlier than usual, and to be awake in the middle of one's normal "night."

So far, sleeping has always taken care of the events, so I automatically do it.

Yeah, I went to bed early but didn't go to sleep until 5am and got up at 1:30pm. So I'll try 9:30pm tonight, but I bet I just end up staying up and driving. She said I could sleep during part of the test.

Have you heard from the neurologist yet?
Hope trying to reset your body clock works.

Her reply was right above yours. :) She wants me to get a lab, and of course, I'm just home from getting labs. I don't usually boot up the computer until I'm home. If I have time tomorrow I'll do it after the heart test; if I don't have time, I'll do it Thursday.
