The Wedding Date

This was a rather predictable romance. Kate, the character played by Debra Messing, looked confused through most of the movie. Kate's younger sister is getting married in the UK and Kate has to go, but she knows she'll see her old fiance there. She decides she has to take a guy with her and hires an escort, Nick (Dermot Mulroney). After some talking and getting drunk, she finds out why the ex-fiance dumped her and the wedding starts to fall apart. In the end, of course, everything works out. Not something I'd watch again, but I did finish the crocheting of the new cat blankie while watching it and just have the working-in-of-ends and edging to do.
