I liked two stories:
"Two Boys" by Steven Popkes -- if Neanderthals are genetically introduced again, how will they compare to us?
"California Burning" by Michael Blumlein -- What do you do if your father's bones won't burn in the cremation and strange people show up and want to look at them?
Kristine Kathryn Rush also had a very short story about airplane flights -- "Turbulence" -- and everything that happens in that story happened to me when I consulted. Either they're much more common than I thought or she's reading my mind.
