Preparation Day

So I've printed three of my medical.txt which has the diagnoses, insurance info, and all the meds & doses I'm actually taking (the Kaiser computer has everything that has been prescribed until it expires and that dosage -- I rarely stay at the same dosage and some meds stop before the expiration date) for the three doctor appointments this week. I change dosage of the prednisone on Tuesday, so one has 50mg and two have 45mg. My moonface is starting to deflate -- I can push in on it with a finger although I still can't pinch my cheek -- which is a good thing. It means the prednisone is having less effect.

I'm washing and changing sheets, as usual on Sunday. I ordered skinless boneless chicken thighs from Peapod and yesterday I portioned them into nine, putting eight in the freezer and one in the fridge. The fridge portion is marinating in garlic and olive oil and I'll try the broil part of the new toaster oven for the first time soon. I'll have some garlic and olive oil couscous, too; there'll be enough for three meals.

There were two good movies last night -- The Fortune Cookie and The Princess Bride -- and there will be two good TV shows tonight -- Law & Order: CI and In Plain Sight -- so I'm saving the Monsters, Inc. DVD for tomorrow when there's just The Closer to watch.
