I saw the rheumatologist today and not only do I have DeQuervains Tendonitis, but I have more arthritis. The problems I'm having moving my right leg from the hip is, indeed, the hip. Hmph.

The WashPost thought the cover of the Iraq Study Group Report was what was keeping people from reading it, so they commissioned four new covers: self-help, SF, romance, and comics. The article that follows the pictures talks about how the actual cover was designed.

It's warmer today, so at least I don't hurt so much.

I'm sorry you hurt. De Quervain's was my first hand injury. I hope there's better treatment for it now.

A "thumb spica" splint. If that doesn't work, surgery. Fortunately, I have a really good hand surgeon.

Whatever deQuervain's is, it sounds painful. And the hip doesn't sound too wonderful either. Here's hoping you'll be able to keep it under control.
