The Other Side of the Street

This is a Brazilian movie (English subtitles) where Regina, who is 65, acts as a police informer. She's always right and gets people as big as the leader of a child prostition gang. Then, sitting at her window with binoculars, she sees a man across the street give his wife an injection and then cover her face with the sheet. She reports this to her police contact as a murder, but the man turns out to be a judge and the wife to have had cancer.

Regina is sure he killed his wife and starts following him. He starts noticing her and asks her out. We see them move toward intimacy while she is simultaneously scared and infatuated. Will either or both of them find out the truth about the other? I liked this a lot.
