I got a call back from the city's deputy commissioner of revenue this morning and it turns out she thought I needed help, rather than permission to turn the exemption application in late because I got home too late. So I'm going to do the application and have Luke take it to the out box in the clusterbox tomorrow, along with the fed & state taxes. That way at least the taxes will be in on time.
I'm doing laundry -- another large batch, I think -- and plan to spend more time straightening up the workroom.
