The Girl Can Play!

I can't tell you how happy I am to see Spirit play with the glitter pom ball. I've tried lots of balls with her before and she wouldn't play, but with this one, she swats and bounces and even carries in her mouth. Last night, she brought it into bed while I was reading and attacked it when it was in a cave of duvet. She's disembowelled Mr. Gators before, but I think that's defense practice. This is the first time I've seen her actually play, and she'll be 11 in March.

It's a quiet day here, other than the traditional Sunday bed linen washing. I just finished watching To Sir, With Love on TCM and I still love it. Woke the cats up when I sang with Petula Clark. Taped the news while I was watching it, and I see Bill Richardson is withdrawing from his nomination to the Cabinet. Hmmmm. And Israel. Well, I think we should just send their ambassador home.
