No Meds, No Hangtag

So, to start on a good note, here's the picture of the cats:

Spirit has her head on Shiva's back legs and he has his front legs on her middle. They're almost exactly like that right now, but Spirit is more toward the back of the recliner instead of the corner. Shiva has taken to always lying on the outside, to protect her.

I took just 20mg of the BP med today because that will get me through Sunday, planning to take another 10mg if my meds came today, but they didn't (my BP was 106/57 this morning, so okay). The new handicapped hangtag didn't come, either, and the DMV isn't open today. So if someone feels the need to ticket me for my now-expired paper tag, I'll just have to explain and hope they kill the ticket. Maybe they'll both come tomorrow.

I had another reading event last night. I read a post on my flist and put in a comment and when it displayed the comment to me, it didn't make sense. I didn't know if I had typed it weirdly or couldn't read, so I deleted it and then read the next post on the flist and that didn't make sense, either, so I napped for five hours. I came back and that next post was quite sensible. I'm going to call Neuro on Monday and see about a second opinion. I'm clearly having neuro problems and the current doc is saying because my phenobarb level (18) is in the effective range (15-40), things are okay. But they're not okay and there's a reason there's an effective range.

I think she's doing this because I'm at the top limit of the phenobarb and would have to take another med that might be more expensive. Then again, if it was generic, it would be $7 per month by mail while Medicare doesn't cover phenobarb and I'm paying $10.55 per month by mail.

So, other than checking the mail and driving by the empty DMV, I haven't done much today.
