Van Is Back
Actually, the call woke me up at 10:30am, and I told him I needed to sleep more. By the time I was up and presentable, his folks who he would send were out trying to start a car. Finally the van came past and I grabbed things and went out. Something was wrong with the windshield washers, as I thought -- needed a new hose -- but everything else was fine and I shouldn't need to go in for another year. I went to get money for the week and then to the grocery, where I asked the cashier to balance the bags evenly and she said yes and then put all the heavy things in one and all the light ones in the other. :::sigh::: When I picked up the mail, I had the weighty Kaiser contract and such for next year. Same premium and copays, all my meds are still covered, except the phenobarb, which has never been covered. Medicare thinks phenobarb isn't necessary. I'm not arguing -- three months worth is $10.60.
I'm washing cat blankies and Spirit keeps yelling at me.
