I got my primary's nurse to put a new standing order in for his test, but when he brought me my list out (if I don't take a list, they don't do all 17 of the tests), he pointed to the nephrologist's section and said he'd put those in, too. I didn't want to bother him more, so when I came home I emailed her nurse and explained. My primary's last name is Narayanan and my nephrologist's last name is Narayana. I have their complete names at the head of their sections, but I think Tito didn't look closely and Narayana might want the results of those labs to come to her. I see Webster Monday, so I'll deal with hers then.
On the way over, I dropped a DVD in the drive-by box at the post office -- I've started Cowboy Bebop and it really is great. The writers clearly have a lot of literary/movie/SF background and keep giving us bits of resonance.
On the way home, I stopped at Pipiolo, the restaurant that replaced Anita's, and found it was a chicken place. The staff are primarily Chinese (I think, but definitely Asian), and all the other customers were Hispanic. Loud fast Hispanic music played, but the food was good. I'll probably go back, but I don't think most of my friends would like it. I got gas a bit earlier than usual (usual being half-full) because I'm going into Fairfax tomorrow.
Last night, a couple of neighbors I hadn't met yet (but waved at from the street -- they have plants all over their balcony) stopped over to ask about Luke since they hadn't seen him, and I caught them up. This morning, our papers were next to our doors, so I think one of them did that, which is very nice.
My friend AJ has some really cool necklaces she just made up on Etsy -- a dragon hatching and a gargoyle!
