Reflex by Steven Gould

This is the sequel to Jumper, which I reviewed here. It was written 10 years later and the story takes place ten years later. Davy has been working for the NSA, Millie is a family therapist, and their life is great.

This book is much darker than the first -- Davy is captured and controlled by a vagus nerve stimulator. The NSA is told to stop looking for him and the corruption goes higher and higher. Millie has to try to find Davy and she becomes quite inventive. It's a brisk thriller and I recommend you read it right after Jumper.
