I was online 12 hours yesterday and still read last Wednesday's paper before I went to bed at 6:30am and tried to read. I was so sleepy that I didn't get very far, so I put a renewal on today and will probably start the bookgroup book tonight. I planned to write about the book I finished on Sunday, but haven't had time. In any case, I went to sleep at 8am and set the alarm for 4pm.
I checked the computer and it was 88F here (almost always cooler here than in DC, no matter the month) so I took the fixed hair clip and dropped it in a UPS thing, then drive-by mailed an envelope with 12 of the litterbox papers and they'll send me a coupon for a free box, and then brought some Popeye's home. Most of the mail was stuff to go directly into the mixed paper recycling basket, but a CD I wanted came: This is Somewhere by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. I've already listened twice and I really like it.
I usually get my inhalers two at a time, but my primary had another put in with the two Qvar. My guess is that Medicare has a new rule where they have to give a certain number of uses -- probably 60 -- and each box/inhaler of those is 25 puffs. I used to get individual inhalers, but went through them so far I was always out before I noticed.
The Wisconsin Democrats have to win at least three more recall elections to get control of the state Senate.
A lot of you are probably too young to remember Jaleel White, who played Steve Urkel. Well, he's the protagonist for a really good 50s sing & dance video that's sung by Cee Lo.
A tree falls over at Gettysburg and when they cut a clean stump, they found bullets from the Civil War, which will make it a Witness Tree.
