Lots of Sleep

Last night I watched TV and read the paper and got to bed at 12:30am. I finished reading and went to sleep at 5am with the alarm set to noon. When it went off, I accidentally threw it (no damage) and just turned it off and then slept until 5:30pm. I'll have to work on getting up with less sleep.

It's drizzling outside and I went to get two days of mail and back to be on the computer.

Asimov's July 2011

Williams writes about titles; Silverberg on Sir John Mandeville.

I liked three stories in this issue:

1. "Twelvers" by Leah Cypress -- a girl who is different finds a way to manage school.

2. "The Messenger" by Bruce McAllister -- a man works in time for his mother and father.

3. "The Copenhagen Interpretation" by Paul Cornell -- a very amusing, surprising alternate universe with spies.
