Proselytizing in Card

Last night I watched TV, read the paper, and got to bed at 1:30am where I managed to read about 70 pages before I slept at 3:30am. The alarm was set for noon, but when it went off, I reset it for 1pm and got up then.

I saw my primary and I now have two referrals: 1)an endocrinologist tomorrow because she's worried that I have osteoporosis but am off Fosamax for another year to get my wisdom teeth out -- that one's tomorrow -- and 2) an orthopedist to check out the awful joint in my left shoulder and that one is a week-and-a-half away. I told her about the testing and that I was seeing the psych next week and when I told her about the awful hot flashes, she told me to ask him about adding Prozac or Effexor. Both apparently help with hot flashes. She wouldn't have known about any of the psych stuff if I hadn't told her, and while I know Kaiser does that for privacy, I post here, so I clearly am not that worried about psych privacy. I really appreciate it that their software now lets her make appointments while we're in the exam room -- it's a lot faster than me doing it with a phone at home.

Kobe Bryant called a referee a homophobic slur and he was fined $100K. I don't think that's enough. The man has plenty of money, he should lose that and be benched for the next few games.

I'd show you a very cute set of mallard ducklings, but the WashPost has gone nuts. Maybe tomorrow.

I got an Easter card from my brother & his family today. Everybody signed their name and my sister-in-law also put on the left inside:

Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.

Nothing keeps her from being annoying.
