Last night I watched TV and tape, read the paper, and got to bed to read at 12:30am. I finally stopped being hungry at 3:30am so I came out and ate while finishing reading a magazine (which won't get reviewed today, see below). I got to sleep at 4am, but spent the night being hot and cold and hot and cold and so forth so I didn't get up until 2pm.
I took the trash and recycling out and picked up Spirit's meds. Usually I get cat meds on Mondays, when I do the grocery shopping, but my vet hadn't renewed it (and I forgot it was a holiday and she doesn't work on holidays).
I got home and did my regular checking through email and then my credit union, and bang! a bill from Netflix that didn't belong there. I checked and the credit union account also had that. I checked Netflix online, and they didn't, so I called. Yes, someone else used my address and debit card number to make their own account. They hadn't ordered anything yet and the customer service person killed the account and I had her change my account to a credit card.
I got the debit card service phone number for this kind of thing and will call them tomorrow with the email tacked on to that account. I expect I'll have to learn another number.
