Close to Normal

After being online last night, I managed to finish reading the paper by 10pm. It would have been earlier except I kept going to sleep. I went right down to the bed and to sleep about 10:15pm and slept until 3am. I was awake then and read the book more, and my stomach growled quite loudly. I thought of an english muffin, but then I realized that french onion soup in a bread bowl doesn't have a lot of protein. I came down here and looked through cupboards and cabinets and found the best choice was mac & cheese. I ate that while Spirit and I watched last week's Glee, which had Carol Burnett playing a very appropriate mother for Sue Sylvester. The paper wasn't here yet at 6am and I went to bed. I didn't set the alarm and woke up at 12:30pm. That's a pretty normal time to wake up, and I'm going to try to stay awake until a normal time.

The bed linen is being washed and the new linens are partway on the bed. Spirit is on the old computer and Loki on the loveseat. I don't know where Junie is because she likes to sit on the bed and it's not done yet. I had to get a new roll of paper towels out of the storeroom -- I don't use them often -- and a lot of the planks on the porch are warped. Legally, they belong to the development and I have limited use, but I'm willing to bet that the development won't do anything to fix it. They haven't done anything about the english ivy working its way under the siding, on the concrete foundation, and onto porches.
