Not The Primary Doctor
So, not only have I been sweating a lot more since I've been taking the prednisone, but the condo has just been full of moisture this summer. The upshot was that after 40 minutes of trying, I couldn't get a bra on today and I called and cancelled my appointment with the primary. I didn't really need it because the rheumatologist ordered the tests I needed on Monday. I finally realized that I could put the bra in the dryer and me in my chenille robe and after about 20 minutes, we were both dry enough to be successfully joined.
I dropped a DVD off at the post office drive-by box and went on to Uno's for lunch. While there, I was thinking that I could come home and strike out the primary appointment on my week's schedule when I "saw" below it Chem7, so I stopped at Kaiser on the way home and got stuck.
I already had an idea of what might be making the condo damp, since it hasn't been like this any of the other 17 summers I've owned it -- I looked up in the shower the other day with my glasses on and saw wrinkled paint right where I had a leak almost exactly two years ago. So when I got home, I called MyPlumber and they're coming either tonight or tomorrow and will call me tonight to say which.
I got a call from Kaiser Member Services and I do need to get the Medical Records of both ERs before they'll pay the helicopter. Calling them is okay, but I don't know if I can actually walk through the hospitals to get copies of the records, and I'll have to pay for them. I also had a call from the mortgage guy telling me that my refinancing is still in process, it's just a long process because they're doing so many of them.
