Napping Again

My phone rang at 10:30am and it was my primary's nurse wanting to set up a phone appointment between 12:30 and 1:30pm. I said sure and went off-and-on back to sleep until the alarm rang at 1pm. He actually called about 2pm, right before I was going to leave the house, and essentially went over what I said in the email and said I should start the HRT at half of before.

I headed out to put a DVD in the post office drive-by box and on to get groceries. The guy insisted on putting all the groceries into one reusable bag again, even after my telling him I needed them in two, and he threw the other bag into my cart like it was trash. So I stopped at the end of his area and rebagged where he could see me. I sent email to the grocery store, too.

When I got home, I felt like I'd hurt my left lower back (don't know how) and started reading the mail in the recliner. Luke knocked -- we have a sign, if I get the mail while I'm out, I leave a bit of it (ads, envelopes, whatever) on a clip on his door. I'd hurt so much I'd forgotten and I went to the door to tell him and apologize and as I was apologizing, suddenly everything started swaying. I came back in and slept in the recliner for four hours. It was as I woke up that I realized I'd missed having my rehydration fluid yesterday. I'm not sure that's enough to make me dizzy, but it probably contributed.

I'd planned to wash cat blankies and kitchen and bathroom towels today, but it's too late for that (the condos have rules about when you can make noise, including the washer & dryer). I just started a load of clothes which will take one load off tomorrow when I'll do the Monday washing. Good thing I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow!

This was an icky movie. Nicole Kidman played a woman whose husband, named Sean, had died 10 years ago and she was about to get married again. A kid who was born on the day Sean died, who was also named Sean, managed to convince her that he was her husband reincarnated. She didn't ask him anything that would have proved it one way or the other, and the kid was unrelenting in his love for her. The fiance becomes violent because she believes the kid but then the kid is shown some unopened love letters from the original Sean. They're addressed to Kidman's character's best friend -- they'd been lovers. This is when the kid realizes he isn't the original Sean and he tells Kidman. She talks her fiance into getting married still and at the wedding, tries to kill herself and he stops her.

Ew, ew, ew. We saw that the kid sat in the foyer of the building while his dad gave music lessons upstairs, so that's how he thought he was Sean. Why would she want to marry a guy who has to be restrained repeatedly because he's violent? And why would he want to marry a woman who is mentally loose enough to believe the kid without any checking? Why would the best friend show up only when she has to give Sean information and not at the parties?

Bad script, bad directing, bad movie.
