Still Hot

Not as much as yesterday, and the AQI is Yellow, so I got up early to get to the monthly HazMat half-day. I'd found a mercury thermometer in my bathroom while I was clearing it out and I went ahead and took the dead batteries I had. Usually I wait until the bowl is full.

I had to go a round-about way to get to the transfer station because today is Heritage Railroad Day and my usual route was blocked. On the way back, on Rt. 28 South, where it splits into one-way streets, we had tourists crossing every few yards without paying attention to the two-lane heavy traffic. I hope they spent money, the city can always use the taxes.
