Adventures in Time and Space with Max Merriwell by Pat Murphy

This is the final book in Murphy's trio and has lot of references -- to the first two books, to other books, to physics, to Pat herself, etc. -- and the references have references of their own. I smiled through most of this book. Pat and a friend Susan take a cruise where they meet Max Merriwell and reality starts to waver. Pat's BadGrrlzGuide gives intermittent scientific basis to the odd events happening. Pat says the books are written by Max and his pseudonyms (Max wrote There and Back Again; Mary Maxwell wrote Wild Angels) but his pseudonym Weldon Merrimax doesn't get a book, and that's not entirely true, since this book could easily be a mystery. Well-recommended.

This was a long movie, but I loved the music! We watch Ray Charles from childhood to his thriving career, with all the trials and joys along the way. Great acting, good characters. I would have liked more music, but I suppose it had to have a plot, too.
