Ice is Not Nice
This batch of water went north of us again, so we just got freezing rain. By the time I got up, only the tops of the trees and bushes still had ice and the sidewalks and roads were wet. It's going to freeze again tonight, though, which means icy roads.
There was a 30-car pile-up in Gaithersburg, MD, during morning commute, and a large tree fell over a two-lane bit of a major Arlington evening rush hour route.
We've been pretty quiet here. I didn't set the alarm last night because I've been gradually more and more sleepy during the day this week. I actually only slept an hour more, but it seems to have done the job. My back still hurts from all the sitting up straight and standing up yesterday, so I'm not going to cook today. I was going to assemble soup/stew. Maybe Sunday. I've got a couple of loads of laundry done and have some ideas for next year's BFAC kit.
