The New Bed

We're all getting used to the new bed. The cats took a while to walk confidently on it once I put the mattress topper on, but they're dashing across the top of the headboard and hiding in the empty bookcase part to attach each other. I've had three nights with the memory foam topper on and the first night, I kept walking up so hot I had to throw the covers off for a while. I had to do that a few times Saturday night, but none last night. I guess I'm getting used to it.

I went to the grocery today and, among other things, bought a bag of Brach's candy corn. I'll have to carefully limit how often I eat any. Now I'm doing laundry the rest of the day.
