No Hairspray!

I woke up this morning and my cowlick at the back left is popping up again. I'm annoyed that it's doing that so soon after a haircut! Usually, if my hair is short enough or long enough, it will be okay. If the hair is short, all of it is rather lively. If it's long, the weight pulls the cowlick down.

When I was reading in the recliner about 1am this morning, I heard a big thump from upstairs. A minute or so later, I heard footsteps. That was when I realized I was holding my breath. Luke is legally blind (and only has one eye, the other is glass) and his eye has been getting blurrier the last week or so and he saw the doctor yesterday who told him there was nothing to do about it. I'm clearly more worried about it than I thought I was. I'm going to suggest OT again. I think he could stay in the condo longer, which is what he really really wants, if he had some training dealing with being almost blind.

When I went to bed last night and took my phone out of my pocket, it had the missed phone call symbol on the screen. I couldn't figure out why, because I'd had it in my pocket since I got up and next to the bed before that. If there'd been a message, there'd have been a pink light blinking, but no message. So I clicked through to look at when and where it came from. I didn't recognize the number, but the time was 12:20pm. Where was I at 12:20... outside heading toward the DHL van! It must have been the DHL driver because she was sort of standing inside the back doors when I came out and when she heard me, she put something down and stepped back. When I came back in and got dressed and put the phone in my pocket, I didn't notice the missed call; people usually leave messages.
